FERRO ROD 6"X1/2"

Ferrocerium is a man-made metallic material that produces hot sparks at temperatures of about 1,650 °C (3,000 °F) when scraped against a rough surface (pyrophoricity), such as ridged steel. Many high carbon steels will create a spark but the ferro rod is the most widely used fire making tool. In extreme conditions, the dexterity in your hands could be detrimental, and gross motor movement skills are diminished.  In some cases, individuals couldn't even spark a lighter, but the simple scraping motion can easily be accomplished in almost every survival situation.  Fire is one of the most important bushcraft skills.

SHEMAGH HEAD WRAP RED/BLK

The shemagh (pronounced “she-mahg”) is the traditional desert head wear used to effectively protect your head & neck from the blazing sun. It’s also been used for decades by military forces operating in arid or jungle environments. In fact, the shemagh is officially issued to British and Australian soldiers for desert warfare. But you don’t have to be a soldier to appreciate this versatile piece of headgear. Protects against sun, blown dust & sand, bugs, and rain. UCO STORMPROOF MATCH KIT

The UCO Stormproof Match Kit is a waterproof case that includes 25 matches and 3 strikers.
