Bio

Kerri Lee Knokes is a Canadian wilderness guide, educator, and solo survivalist best known for her appearance on the History Channel’s Alone Season 8. Based in the rugged backcountry of British Columbia, she’s built a life around teaching others how to thrive—physically, mentally, and spiritually—in the wild.

Kerri Lee’s relationship with the outdoors began in her youth, exploring the forests and mountains that would later become both her home and her classroom. Over the past two decades, she’s worked as an outdoor instructor and guide, leading expeditions that combine bushcraft, ecological awareness, and personal growth.

Her time on Alone pushed those lessons to their limits. Living completely isolated in the Canadian wilderness, Kerri Lee relied on ingenuity, mindset, and years of field training to persevere through cold, hunger, and solitude. The experience deepened her philosophy that true survival isn’t only about fire and shelter—it’s about harmony with nature and strength of spirit.

Today, she brings that wisdom to the PNW Survival Games, where her calm leadership and technical expertise empower others to test their limits and reconnect with the wild world around them.

Whether guiding, speaking, or teaching, Kerri Lee inspires adventurers of all levels to face challenges with courage and curiosity—and to remember that every journey into nature is also a journey inward.
